If you are interested in negotiating this year, the Law Society is organising an introductory meeting and workshop on Monday 5th October for all those interested.

Trainees from DLA Piper will be in attendance to provide a presentation on how negotiating is regularly used in their work. Drinks and snacks provided! 

Debating

This year Law Soc debating is changing. There will be a number of Open Floor parliamentary debates happening in the first semester, on an emotive and controversal issue so you can all get involved.

The debating workshop will be taking place on Wednesday 8th October where Debating Secretary Amelie will tell you more about debating and the competition in the second semester.

The debating is kindly sponsored by Allen and Overy who will be judging the final this year and providing refeshments and prizes for the debates.
