THIS MESSAGE IS FOR LAW SOCIETY MEMBERS CONSIDERING APPLYING FOR COMMITTEE POSITIONS Dear All, If you are intending to run for a position on next year’s Law Society committee, please ensure you submit your election manifesto on the website's forums (www.leedslawsoc.com) by the deadline. Forum accounts: logging in or registering To make posts in the forum you will either need to log in or register a new account. The option to do so is at the very top of the page when browsing the forum main page. Registering a new account literally takes seconds, just click on the ‘Register’ link and fill out the form. If you have already registered an account but lost your password, you can recover it by clicking on the ‘Lost Password?’ link. You will need to provide your Username and Email – if you have misplaced these please register a new account, I cannot reset passwords. Note: You do not need to register an account to read topics! Submitting and reading manifestos To submit your manifesto, visit the 'Committee 2009/2010 Election Manifestos' forum and create a NEW topic. This can be done by clicking on the ‘New Thread’ button beneath the forum header / above the other threads in that forum. To read the posted manifestos, click on the topic title and you will be directed to a page with a white background (and horrendous formatting- sorry, not my doing). One of the bullets on that page is to view the manifesto as a PDF. Click on that option and you can view the manifesto.
